Sean Swarmer, twice diagnosed with cancer and survived, miraculously, both attempts, climbed Mount Everest and taked with him a banner on which were inscribed the names of other survivors of the disease.

Sean Swarmer suffered, at age 13, Hodgkin's lymphoma (a malignant disease that reaches the lymph nodes) in an advanced stage, however, survived.

Two years later, was diagnosed with another type of cancer - a lung tumor - doctors saying he has no longer than two weeks to live.

Sean Swarmer

Almost 15 years after this accident, Sean Swarmer, with a single lung function, has climbed Everest, the world's highest peak (8848 m). Swarmer climbed the highest peak on every continent.

Sean Swarmer and his brother Seth are the founders of the organization Cancer Climber Association, based in U.S., founded in order to assist those with cancer, encouraging them to continue their active lifestyle.

When I first saw this headline, I thought you were leading us to an Onion "article."
But, it appears true, and if so, is amazing.
Not sure I could make it up there with 4 lungs.
