Some tips on how to interpret weather on mountain:

In the morning:

  • Sunrise in a blaze cloudy colored copper shades = weather becomes rainyIn the morning
  • Whitish sky sunrise on the horizon or tinted orange = weather will be fine
  • Dew abundance after a night serene = weather will be fine
  • The grass cover of dew in the morning though the night sky was covered = a storm approaching
  • Morning clouds rising from valleys but not grow up but are torn and broken = on that day will not rain
  • Morning when the air is cold and the sky is clear or less cloud and weak wind blows = weather stays nice
  • If the morning air is warm and clear sky and the wind blow low, no precise direction = in the afternoon will be storm
  • If the morning wind blows hard from one direction on the coast mountain and in the opposite direction on the ridge = weather is getting worse quickly
  • If the morning is warm and clear and the wind blows hard from the south = nice weather lasts several days

During the day:

  • A dark blue sky at noon = weather stays nice
  • If is a clear sky and appear white clouds, thin, shaped fibers, with branches at one end like claws During the day(Cirrus) = weather is getting worse in more than three days (If these clouds are moving quickly becomes rainy weather next day)
  • If the sky is covered quickly with a thin canvas of clouds which sees the sun = rain starts in less than 24 hours
  • If the sky is covered and under the gray canvas of clouds, appear small clouds, dark, moving in a direction contrary to the above = the rain will begin in few hours or even minutes
  • If there are several floors of the clouds above some going in one direction and others below that run counter = weather is getting worse quickly and the rain begins within hours
  • If the wind blows on the ground in one direction and the clouds go in the opposite direction = weather is getting worse on the same day
  • Summer, when is a blue sky and appear elongated clouds as strips, with bumps on them like little castles = in the afternoon will be storm
  • Summer, when high thin clouds coming from sunrise = weather will be fine and heats
  • If it rains and the wind changes direction from west and northwest, beating east and northeast, and becoming hard = weather will improve rapidly and become more beautiful for days
  • If it's cold and raining and strong wind blows from the south = bad weather lasts several days

In the evening:In the evening

  • If in the evening, the fog or clouds, rather than descend into valleys, cling to the peaks = the next day it will rain
  • When the sun goes down, appears larger than usual and the surrounding clouds take different color = the next day it will rain
  • When the evening sun is shining and sets in the sky red and yellow-orange = weather stays nice
  • Dew abundance in the evening, followed by a serene night = weather will be fine

Warning signs:Eagle over mountain

Eagle soaring to great heights, flying bats late at night, the intense activity of spiders, flying insects mostly through glades = weather will be fine

Mountain animals get down in the woods, eagle hides under rocks, crows caw and rotate in the flock, small birds hide in the bushes, insects disappear, many plants close their flowers or shaking their leaves = a storm is approaching
