Pros
  • Lightweight
    - this is the lightest backpacking tent (you give up a little on space and heavy-duty materials)
    - it packs tiny and weighs close to nothing (have 3 1/2 lbs all in, and 1.75 lbs if you run with the fly and footprint only)
  • Easy to set up
    - you will really like how simple the setup is (It is really easy to setup in all conditions, and the guylines ensure that the fly stays put)
    - it will take you about 10 minutes in the wind to get everything set up
  • Fly works well
    - it survived high winds and a rain storm that shook most other backpackers tents pretty severely that night while we slept well
    - the 360 degree mesh is awesome and allows for great views and ventilation
  • Comfortable
    - the key to unlocking its space inside is to stake out the middle of the sides of the tent and attach the inside of the fly to the tent wall mesh
    - being 95 percent screen makes it not only lighter, but also makes it ventilate quite nicely
    - lots of footroom, lots of headroom, several pockets for your stuff, made to last
  • Durable
    - you will love the quality and hardiness of this tent

Cons

  • Too cramped
    - I think anybody taller than 6'3" would fit
    - close quaters for two people with no room to store gear but perfect for one with gear inside

Best Uses

  • Backpacking
  • Hiking
  • Mountaineering
  • Car camping
  • Beach
  • Cycle touring
