Pros

Water resistant
- after an attempted in winter to ascent I had dry feet the whole time
- the OR gaiters keep the snow out of my plastic like magic

- the Gore-Tex make his job and let my feet to breath (3-layer Gore-Tex®/Taslan® nylon)
Lightweight
- this gaiters are really lightweight (only 343 g / 12.1 ounces per pair)
Stay in place
- 2" wide hook/loop front closure with double-needle stitching
- once you get the buckle adjusted, set it... and forget it
- Hook/loop shear tab at bottom prevents separation of front closure
- the straps that go under the boots seem to be very durable
- this gaiters fit securely, and cover up almost all of the vulnerable parts of the boot
